THE WORTH OF A SOUL What is a Soul? The D&C 88:15 defines Soul, as ‘the spirit and the body’. And I am going to talk about my Soul because our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ taught in Matthew 7:3-5 thus: ‘And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerate not the beam that is thine own eye? ‘Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and behold, a beam is in thine own eye? ‘Thou hypocrites, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and the shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s own eye’. The worth of my Soul before Heavenly Father is priceless as the maker, and what I make of it makes it more worthy to him.
