Introducing Paperless PINs: Say Bye to PIN Mailers!

Dear Ake Ikechukwu Felix,

We have introduced Paperless PINs, an innovation in Debit Card PIN management. Gone are the days of PIN mailers, you can now select your Card Personal Identification Number (PIN) instantly at the point of getting a new Card or replacing your misplaced or expired Card.

The instant PIN selection can be done with specialised POS at any of our Business Offices or any UBA ATM. If you decide to do this from any of our ATMs, an activation code will be sent to your phone number registered with UBA; you will need to enter this code into the ATM before you can select your new PIN.

To facilitate the implementation, we have deployed several specialised PoS terminals to our Business Offices across the country. This new process is more efficient and easier.

It is however important to let you know that the Paperless PIN is secure, true to our commitment to safeguarding your funds. You can rest, assured that we will continue to deploy the best in class technology to protect all your transactions.
