Jesus Christ

We know that men are saved no faster than they gain a knowledge of God, of Christ, and of the laws which they have ordained. We cannot be saved in ignorance of the One who made salvation possible, nor of the everlasting gospel which bears his name.
We know that it is life eternal to know the Father, who is God above all, and the Son, who is in the image of the Father and through whom are transacted all the dealings of Deity with mortals.
We also know that the Father is revealed by the Son; that no man cometh unto the Father but through the Son; and that to know One is to know the Other.
We know that the plan of salvation is always and everlastingly the same; that obedience to the same laws always brings the same reward; that the gospel laws have not changed from the day of Adam to the present; and that always and everlastingly all things pertaining to salvation center in Christ.
We shall, therefore, learn of Christ and his laws as such knowledge is set forth in the Messianic preachings and prophecies of old, and we shall know that these same laws and doctrines will guide us, as they guided the saints of old, to that eternal life which we and they so devoutly desire.

THOUGHT ON NIGERIA I had this thought that if the State Governments in Nigeria are abolished leaving the Federal and the Local Government levels and the concurrent list altered with the Local Governments exercising some Exclusive Powers while the Federal Government exercises Residual Power there will be  radical turn around in the quality of life of Nigerians. The implication of this will be among other things include, 1. The fund made available to the States will revert to the Local Government, 2. The Federal Leadership will not be attractive as all politicians will return to the grass root, 3. The Quality of Local Government Administration will improve. 4. The Houses of Assembly will not exit Further, this will have to alter the political party structures in terms of spread and independent candidature a as well as electioneering cost.
